About NGLA

Who we are, how the league is governed, and why NGLA exists.

Our Mission Pending Charter

The Northern Gulf Lacrosse Alliance exists to give area clubs a real season — one schedule set up front, every team in a division playing the others at least once, instead of piecing games together jamboree by jamboree.

Member clubs commit to a season, field their teams, and in return get organized events, contracted officials, and a governing board that keeps the league fair, safe, and focused on the kids.

How NGLA Is Governed

NGLA is overseen by a small volunteer board, with one voting member from each club. New clubs are voted in by the existing membership. Content pending Bylaws

Divisions

NGLA runs 8 divisions total — 4 for boys and 4 for girls, split by grade: K–2 (U8), 3rd & 4th Grade (U10), 5th & 6th Grade (U12), and 7th & 8th Grade (U14). The U8 division uses the same format year-round; older divisions play a modified format in the fall and transition to more standard lacrosse rules in the spring.
